Meet Anagram Events Australia’s team of dedicated event professionals!
The director of the company, Steven Turner, has 15+ years’ experience in the event industry, primarily working on events in the technology and higher education sectors. He has experience in all areas of event management and has worked as part of a successful team managing specific components for international conferences for up to 1000 delegates. He also has many years-experience for end to end delivery of smaller corporate events such as business breakfasts and lunches, workshops and seminars.
Steven has also worked successfully with several leading professional associations in the Information and Communications Technology space managing their Queensland events programs. These events have ranged in size from as little at 20 attendees to over 900 attendees with high profile speakers such as former Telstra CEO Sol Trujillo, and former Queensland Premiers Peter Beattie and Anna Bligh.
Steven is renowned for the quality of events under his responsibility and has earned high recognition within the marketplace. Part of this success is his ability to form strong working relationships with all stakeholders and a personal philosophy of creating a win-win situation for all participants.
Business Development Manager
Louise Harrison is a MICE (meetings, incentives, conference and events) specialist, bringing 25+ years’ experience in the industry. She has a broad range of experience and has spearheaded the successful delivery of corporate conferences and product launches, incentive travel reward programs, association and government conferences, meetings, exhibitions and events across the globe.
Louise started her career in the UK working for one of the UK’s largest marketing communications agencies in their conference and incentive division. She also spent several years in Los Angeles working in the meetings and incentive industry in the US, developing client business, delivering innovative client projects and managing an operations team of conference and event professionals.
Louise moved to Australia in 2004 and since then has worked with major associations, government departments and corporate organisations to fulfil their business and marketing objectives through meetings and events. She specialises in liaising with and managing corporate clients, conference committees and key stakeholders such as sponsors and exhibitors, to facilitate and ensure a successful event from every perspective.
Debra has spent much of her career working in hospitality, including facilitating and managing events and catering in-house for large corporate firms. Following a break from the workforce to raise her family, Debra began working in the events industry.
Debra is a core and valuable member of the Anagram Events team. She manages many of the operational and logistical components for the events we are managing – negotiating and managing hotel accommodation blocks for conference delegates, sourcing venues, selling and managing sponsorship entitlements, and managing delegate registrations.
Debra also acts as the main point of contact for inquiries from delegates, sponsors, speakers and other stakeholders.
